In
one of the opening lines from the movie we will be looking at this weekend, Forrest Gump, Forrest quotes his mother
about the significance of shoes. "Momma
always says there's an awful lot you could tell about a person by their shoes. Where they're going…where they've been…I've
worn lots of shoes." Obviously,
it isn't about the shoes; it is about the different paths and journeys we take
in life. If you pause and look back over
your life, I bet you've worn a lot of different shoes as well...some were comfortable,
while others may have left blisters.
Forrest Gump was
one of the most popular movies from the 90's.
